It has been a busy weekend. I quite enjoy long weekends, not gonna lie!! Wednesday morning I headed to the D. The mom and I went to Meijers and picked up some supplies. The Thanksgiving cooking soon began. The sickness soon followed. Thanksgiving dinner was great..... oh wait.... I didn't eat it because I was SICK in bed. Best Thanksgiving EVER. By Friday I was feeling a bit better. The sister and I traveled to Akron Ohio to watch the WMU Broncos take on the University of Akron Zips..... yes they are the zips... their mascot is a Kangaroo...... "Fear the Roo" is what everyone was yelling.... well the mighty broncos were not fearful of "The Roo"...... they beat them 17-0. We got a bit lost on the way to the game..... because one would think that the football stadium would be ON the campus........ think again. But, we now know Akron backwards and forwards. Saturday I headed to see The Megan. We stuffed ourselves with food and beer. Sang some karaoke. Drank tea and ate muffins. I left and headed to The dad's. He is sleeping because he worked all night. The Leslie is off doing les-like things and I am thinking that I should not have eaten two coney dogs and a plate of fries........... alkaseltzer anyone?
Oh yeah, I am watching White Christmas. Nothing like Danny and Bing.
